| 50-Year Member Recognition
Plan, promote, and execute worship-related celebration to honor Centrals newest
50 year members.
Congregation Visitation
Provide caring support and listening by visiting Central members and friends in
hospitals, nursing homes, and their homes.
Congregational Letters
Coordinate production, signing and mailing of letters to support and encourage members
and friends of Central experiencing joys, difficulty, illness, or other unusual
circumstances.
Flower Delivery
Deliver flowers displayed in worship to shut-in members and friends of Central.
Funeral Receptions
As requested by families, provide and serve refreshments to create a warm, caring
environment in which the family can share condolences and memories.
Grief Support
Minister to and provide support for those who are grieving the death of loved ones, by
reaching out with empathy and creating an environment of absolute confidentiality.

In-Home
Eucharist
Accompany pastors to help them administer communion to persons shut-in at hospitals,
nursing homes, or their residences.
Meals for Members
Provide food for members who may be unable for a short time to provide their own meals
or need the support of their church family.
Parish Nurse
Provide a vital link between the faith and medical communities in caring for the
physical, spiritual, and other needs of Centrals congregation.
Shut-in Writing and Calling
Maintain contact with Centrals members and friends who are shut-in, through phone
calls and letters.
Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministers are caring, confidential, trained lay persons who offer long-term
one-on-one care in our congregation.
