| Acolytes & Crucifers Contact: Barb Conard (449-1202) Assist with scheduling, coordinating, and guiding the children and youth serving to carry the light and cross of Christ into Sunday worship. Adult Choir Contact: Jeffry Stearns (742-8481) Participate in rehearsals and worship celebrations as a singer in the adult choir. Adult Handbells Contact: Janice Spitalniak (742-8481) Participate in rehearsals and worship celebrations as an instrumental musician in the bell choir. Adult Special Music Contact: Jeffry Stearns (742-8481) Participate in rehearsals and worship celebrations as a vocalist or instrumentalist, on occasion. Eucharist Preparation Contact: Roslynn Bol (474-3092) Help prepare the grape juice and bread elements used to celebrate Eucharist in Central’s worship celebrations. Flower Coordination Contact: Ruth Moran (538-2185) Coordinate the presentation of floral displays on each Sunday and for special times at Easter and Christmas. Funeral Assistants Contact: Laurie Kuhn (742-8481 ) Assist families grieving loved ones by serving as ushers, greeters, and helpers at funerals at the church building. |
Lights
and Sound Booth Contact: Trained persons assist in Sunday worship by setting audio systems and lighting levels while monitoring appropriate levels. New Worship Services Planning Contact: Assess needs and interests in new worship opportunities and implement plans for starting these celebrations, particularly envisioning a contemporary worship celebration. Sanctuary Preparation Contact: Margaret Conn (449-4974) Prepare the Sanctuary for Sunday worship celebrations by keeping pew racks filled and straightened, to ensure the Sanctuary is presentable and welcoming. Scripture Readers Contact: Roy Johnson Present scripture lessons and assist with liturgy in Sunday worship celebrations. Talks with the Young Worshipers Contact: Present spiritual truths during worship to help children (and adults) learn about God.
