There is also parking on the streets around the church. Handicap parking is located in the front area of the second lot and on 7th street (west side of building). The west side also has a ramp for those not wanting to use the steps.
What Services are there on Sundays?
Central offers two styles of worship in two separate services At both services the message offered each week is the same. They differ only in manner that the opportunities to participate are provided. The Sacrament of Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month at both services.
9:00am – Celebration Service – Education Building
10:00 am – Sunday School – Education Building
10:00 am – Coffee & Conversation -Fitch Parlor Sanctuary Building
11:00 am – Traditional Worship Service -Sanctuary
This service is upbeat and contemporary and meets at 9:00 a.m. on Sundays in the Large Fellowship Hall (LFH) of the Education Building. Praise songs, media presentations and a band give this it a more spontaneous feel. Families with children, newcomers, and those wanting a more interactive, casual high-energy experience may find that this style meets their needs.
There are two main entrances to use when attending the Celebration Service The first is located on the east side of the building and faces 8th Street and has no stairs. The second entrance has steps and is on the west side of the Education Building. MAP
At Central’s 11:00 a.m. worship on Sundays, participants enjoy a more traditional service that incorporates hymns, scripture readings, rituals, congregational responses, and choir anthems that are accompanied by our music director on our organ or piano.
This service is held in the Sanctuary. There are three entrances you can use. Two are on the front (north side) of the building and have steps. The third is on the west side of the building at the north end and has a ramp. MAP
