The winds of change have been blowing through Central Presbyterian Church, calling us to reach out to the world and the people around us. Celebration Central is this church’s answer to God’s call to better serve all of God’s children. Starting with breakfast at 8:30a, Celebration Central offers fun ways for people to explore Christianity through contemporary, praise band-led Celebration! at 9:00a, and Celebration Station, a “Workshop Rotation” approach to Christian Education, at 10:00a. Details follow below. Celebration! at 9:00a After a light
breakfast from 8:30a-9:00a, Celebration! participants gather to
listen to the Celebration Band, experience drama, video, and singing,
and hear a message geared toward helping listeners live a Christian
life in the 21st Century. This high-energy, high-tech church service
provides a fun, informal counterpoint to Central’s richly traditional
late-morning worship. Designed to
be the eye-opening beginning for Celebration Central, Celebration!
helps Central’s families sing, laugh, and get Sundays off to a great start
before they go to Celebration Station. The messages for these services
fit closely with the workshops of Celebration Station, reinforcing
the Scriptures and the basic themes that the children learn in their rotations.
Celebration Station at 10:00a Celebration
